Close Protection (Refresher)

The Close Protection Officer Refresher Training Course is designed for existing SIA licence holders who need to renew their Close Protection SIA Licence.

This course not only meets the renewal requirement but also refreshes and updates your knowledge, ensuring you remain fully prepared for any situation. Training is delivered through a blended approach: part is completed at home and part in the classroom.

The home study element includes both the ACT Security and ACT E-Learning modules (accessible online), as well as the Close Protection Refresher Workbook. Once your place on the course is confirmed, you will receive a link via email to download the workbook.

To enrol on this course, you must already hold a valid SIA Close Protection Licence, have at least 12 months remaining on your current three-day First Aid certificate, and have completed both the online ACT Security qualification and the CP Refresher Workbook.

Before training begins, learners are required to present their First Aid certificate, ACT certificates, and completed CP Workbook to the training provider.

If you need to complete a First Aid at Work refresher or a pre-hospital care refresher before attending, please contact us to receive a discount code when booking your refresher course.

See what our students have to say.

I recently attended the three day First Aid at Work course and have to say it was the best course hands down I have ever attended.

The instructor was great at explaining things and took his time to make sure we all knew what we had to do to pass our assessment.
